Strain Measurement Devices Ltd., founded in 1979, design and manufacture a wide range of sensors for force- and pressure measurement, based on thin-film strain-gauge technology. Liquid level sensors are also available. SMD sensors are used in medical, industrial, process monitoring and control, hydraulic, test equipment, automotive, sub-sea, aerospace, education and research applications.
