AMA Association for Sensor Technology

The AMA Association for Sensor Technology, officially founded by a small group of enterpreneurs on the 1st of January, 1981 as the AMA Arbeitsgemeinschaft Messwertaufnehmer (Study Group for Transducers), has developed in time into a competent network of the sensor industry. Thus, the AMA Association's course of development ran parallel to that of the sensor industry as an innovation motor for all branches of industry. We can avail ourselves at present of the specialized know-how of approximately 460 member enterprises and institutes.

The AMA supports researchers, developers, suppliers, and users in all aspects of sensor and measuring technology. Today's AMA is the leading network and the most important representative of the interests of institutes and businesses in the German sensor and measuring industry.
