Modular Microsensorics.
As part of the “Modular Microsensorics” project (see also Projects ), the AMA Association has published a flyer with information on the current status at the SENSOR+TEST.

Data Sheets for Modular Microsensorics.
As part of the “Modular Microsensorics” project (see also Projects ), the AMA Association and 35 companies and institutes have published recommendations for modularizing measuring systems. The recommendations were presented at the SENSOR+TEST 2003. These are generic recommendations for an output interface for sensor-element modules as well as an input interface for bus-coupler modules. The technical data is described in two data sheets.

As the internal connection to the Bus-Coupler module cannot be realized without internal communication software, the AMA Association has published at the O.M.P 2004, in close cooperation with representatives of involved enterprises, a “Generic SPI Interface” Guideline as a “simplified” version, which is nevertheless fully compatible to the IEEE 1451 standard. Published by the AMA Association for Sensor Technology, April 2004.
