Sales and Delivery Terms for Sensor Technology
Non-binding recommendations by the AMA Association for terms and conditions in business dealings, approved by the Bundeskartellamt, the German Federal Cartel Office in Bonn. Anyone is free to use the recommendations. However, if only excerpts or modified extracts are used, the source must be stated and no reference to the approval of the Bundeskartellamt may be included. Only the reference that the terms and conditions applied have been adapted from the terms recommended by the AMA. The translation of these recommendations may also be used abroad. However, it must be noted that differing contract and property laws apply in other countries. In any case, for transnational delivery additional credit safeguards should be stipulated. Non-approved translations may not refer to the AMA recommendation. On 1 January 2002 the "Schuldrechtsmodernisierungsgesetz", Act to Modernize the Law of Obligation, came into effect, which required modification of the recommended terms. The present version reflects these changes. An English and French version is also available.
