Study „Sensor Technology and Measuring Systems –Export Activities of German and Swiss Manufacturers”, July 2005

The German industry is often said to be the “world’s export champion”. This is basically true of sensor and measuring technology as well. With about 40% direct exports, the industry was able to boast a record – not counting indirect exports through products with integrated measuring systems. However, even this can be topped: Swiss sensor and measuring manufacturers exported even more than their German counterparts. To analyse this in detail and to find the differences in the countries targeted was the objective of this study.
