“In-Company Training Study”, November 2003
The media report time and again about the plight of in-company training and often put the blame on the employers. At the same time, they complain about the lack of qualified employees. Since there could be other reasons for this supposed refusal, the AMA Association carried out an opinion poll of CEOs, institute directors, training supervisors, and trainees to assess the problem.
The questionnaires were sent in August 2003 to approx. 660 companies and institutes in the sensor and measuring technology industry. The evaluation was completed in November 2003 and the results were presented on 26 November 2003 at a press conference (please see Press Releases).
