AMA Association / Bernd Oertwig

Whether it be electromobility, industry 4.0, the exploration of Mars, or driver assistance systems: sensing and measuring are today’s key technologies.

The AMA Association for Sensor and Measurement brings all those together who deal with sensing and measuring physical, chemical, climatic, or other parameters. Founded in 1981 as the AMA Working Group for Transducers (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Messwertaufnehmer e.V.) , the Association can draw on the technical competence of about 480 member enterprises and institutes in the sensor industry. The AMA represents the interests of these members in the economic and political environment.

The AMA links innovators from research, development, production, and distribution with the representatives of the various user industries. Thus, the AMA provides science and industry with a competent network and a broad platform for developing innovative joint solutions.

The AMA also offers its members an interesting network comprising specialized committees, sound data on the sensor industry, national and international trade fairs, and participation at conferences, as well as a selection of highly qualified technical seminars.
